HOSPITALITY RESERVE

Hospitality Reserve was established in 2020 by Hospitality Institute of Ohio in response to the pandemic and its aftermath on Ohio's hardworking and dedicated hospitality employees whose lives and income were drastically impacted. Recently, the Hospitality Reserve has transitioned to focus on providing emergency funding to restaurant, foodservice and hospitality employees facing life altering circumstances, including catastrophic illness, injury, death of immediate family member, or natural disaster. Eligibility requirements are available at hospitalityreserve.org.

Hospitality Reserve grants cover life's basic needs of groceries, rent, and medical expenses while these individuals recover from the crisis they are facing. Since inception, we have awarded almost $500,000 in grants to help 1,475 individuals and their family members to positively impact over 3,500 lives across the state of Ohio during their difficult time.

The funding need is ongoing as individuals continue to face unforeseen circumstances. We would not have been able to provide the level of comfort and support without the generous donations from industry, non-profit foundations and individuals.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the financial assistance during this crisis.  I've been a server for 10 years and love this industry!  I wouldn't trade the experiences and lessons for anything.  That you for helping someone you don't even know.
